THE GREAT CROSS-SECTOR EXPOSITION TARGETING MUSLIM MARKET

The progress in sharia economy system, other than being beneficial for ummah, also provides advantage for life toward a just economy system and provides physical and psychological benefits. It is only lamentable that the economy system which gives benefits for the life in this world and the life after is not comprehended by most Muslims, only due to lack of public campaign.   

With this awareness, we will arrange an event that has become a routine program of Indonesia's Ulama Council (MUI) and the Sharia Economy Society (MES), titled: INDONESIA SHARIA EXPO 2007. This event comes with a theme of: "Sharia business and entrepreneurship spirit". Insya Allah this exposition will be opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.    

With this event, we expect to be able to elucidate concerning products of sharia economy, such as: sharia banking, sharia insurance, sharia mortgage, sharia leasing, sharia mutual funds, sharia stock exchange, sharia education institution, hajj and umroh service (travel, accomodation, and transportation for hajj), sharia management consulting, halal products, and activities in real sectors which are beneficial for the ummah.    

This event will be filled with a variety of activities, such as: exposition, investor forum, seminar, and talkshow, enterpreneurship program, business contact, project presentation, edutainment, spirit-tainment, and many other activities needed by the activity of sharia economy, businessman, and the general public.   

Now the second Indonesia Sharia Expo will be added by two other great events, the International Investor Forum and Islamic Book Festival. This exposition will be held on October 24 – 28, 2007. Even more extensive and vast than before, the ISE 2007 will cover various sharia activities and business sectors, not limited to the financial sector but also the real sector. It is expected that the ISE 2007 will attract 100,000 visitors in 5 days of exposition.
